” She’s an overcomer. Septic shock, two bone marrow transplants, graft vs. Host disease and 325 days away from home in the hospital. God is so good to us through it all and Leah is proof of his mercy and grace! I do not own the rights to this song.” the video caption says :
Leah, a 5-year-old, suffers from severe congenital neutropenia. She underwent her 1st bone marrow transplant on 2/7/14 and her 2nd one on 3/29/16 and is now recovering from GVHD.

Severe congenital neutropenia is a state where the afflicted person is disposed to periodic infections. People suffering from this condition have on absence (deficiency) of neutrophils, a kind of white blood cell that has its role in inflammation and in fighting infection.
This little hero is being the winner of these battles!

Similar videos show us that we must be thankful for blessednesses. We should feel fortunate for everything we have at this very moment, and it’s bountiful. In the end, what we regret is the thought of needing a lot more than what we already have.

All over the world, people are striving for food and water whereas we are given the choice of what to eat…not to cite how many TV’s we have at home so that we can pick which to use! We MUST be forever grateful for what we have. It’s good to wish for more, but it’s a benediction alone being alive in this amazing world we live in.

Keep that in mind!
